Description:

Heading east on King approaching the lights at King St. and Bathurst. Cars were stopped at red light, bike lane was clear so I continued to proceed to the white line before the red light. At the precise moment that I was going by a navy car, both the shotgun and back right passenger doors opened at the same time, sending the left side of my body directly into the door resulting in me on the ground. Did not feel any injuries initially and was most relieved that I did not suffer any head injuries but about an hour later a bruise about the size of a grapefruit was forming above my left elbow, as well as a similar bruise on my thigh, near my hipbone.
