Description:

Cycling East bound on King near Peter when a woman opened her van door causing me to fall off my bike. When I told her she needs to look first she said "I did look. I saw you. So I only opened the door a little". She also said "I'm a cyclist too."

I left and two witnesses who asked me if I was ok went to speak to her.

I told a police officer a block away. He said "Did she apologize?". When I said yes, he said "Well it happens and she apologized."

I went to 52 Division to report it. The wait was too long. I phoned instead and am waiting for a call back.
