Description:

Was biking North on Yonge St just South of Rosehill Ave. Passenger on right side of the car opened door into my path. My left hand brake impacted the edge of the door causing my handle bar to turn and my momentum to come to an immediate stop. I flew off my bike onto the sidewalk scraping my left knuckles and landing on my tail bone. The impact was hard enough to bend my brake lever and my tail bone will be bruised and sore for many days.

Exchanged info with the person who opened the door. I decided not to call police since I wasn't seriously hurt and I can fix the brakes. Woman who hit me was distraught and promised to never ever do something stupid like this again.
